Exterior is provided with a special pyrolytic coating

-> Special coating reacts with UV in daylight and dissolves organic dirt from the glass -> Loosened dirt is rinsed from the glass with rainwater

Special coating is hydrophilic

-> Rainwater spreads as a film on the surface and enables self-cleaning over a large area

Coating breaks down nitrogen oxides

-> 35 m² area glazed with Pilkington Activ can reduce up to 10% of the nitrogen oxides emitted by an oil heating system

– Can be installed as single-pane glass (float glass, single-pane safety glass, laminated safety glass) and insulating glass
